I don't think so, the views on street level are much much clearer. That would number plates, faces and so on. The problem regarding the camera being to high so therefore it can see into your garden is rubbish, because you can see more via the aerial view anyway. Then the issue regarding the said ugliness isn't an issue because the photos are updated almost daily anyway - well always two days behind. So you get to see the progress a place has made over the years. So other than the car being hijacked, and the inconvenience of low roofs in parking buildings.
