Google Page Previews in Search Options Panel

Google has recently updated their search options panel to include “Page Previews”, although this can slow down your search results a little, it does give you a quick glimpse into what a site may contain. We do not always recognise a URL so nifty thumbnail may help you identify pages that have been helpful in the past of pages that just should not be on the web altogether.

This search option also increases the amount of content in the excerpt giving you a slightly longer description. The interesting part about this description is that it seems to pull the information from different area’s of the page giving you a good idea if the site may be a spam site.

Finding the Page Preview Option

To find the “Page Preview” option, do a Google search and then locate the google show options button. Once all the additional search options appear then look down at the bottom for the “Page Previews
